Mr. Mark Jacobson will join JIS as Director of Cambridge International Program in the Academic year 2021-2022.
His career commenced with service in Her Majesty’s Army Intelligence & Special Forces, during which time he was awarded the Queens Gallantry Medal [QGM].
In 1990, his teaching career began as an English -Teacher. During the past 30 years, he has held many Senior Leadership positions, of which 11 years working experience in Asia and 4 years as principal at International Schools.
Mr. Mark has a full in-depth professional understanding of the following curriculums, Cambridge [CIE], Pearson Edexcel and International Baccalaureate [IB]. He holds a Master degree in Education, PGCE (QTS) in International School Management, Cambridge Teacher Training Diploma, which allows him to share his educational knowledge and experience with his fellow teachers.
Mr. Mark always believes that in order to achieve ‘Academic Excellence’ at JIS, his fellow teachers and himself must continue to improve teaching practice, especially for the Cambridge International Program at JIS.
